Jersey County Fair Tractor PullNTPA RETURNS!
NTPA returns for its sixth appearance at the Jersey County Fair. The track will be on fire with three classes pulling for the top spot beginning on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 6 p.m. The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) Grand National Pulling Circuit is the top level in the entire pulling industry. This circuit fields professional competitors from across the U.S. and Canada vying for valuable points toward an NTPA Grand National Title in their division all summer long. Three NTPA Grand National classes are on-tap for the fans to cheer on this summer in Jerseyville: 9,300 lb. Super Farm Tractors and 4-Wheel-Drive Trucks and Super Stock Open Tractors, featuring the reigning champion "Silver Bullet" driven by Jordan Lustik.

new6 Hall Brothers Racing Team
The Raminator is greased, geared and ready to ram up the entertainment at the Jersey County Fair on Thursday & Friday, July 14 & 15, 2011 on the Jersey County Fairgrounds. The Hall Brothers from Champaign, Il. will be bringing the Raminator monster truck, with more than 565 cubic-inch supercharged Hemi© engine to show the crowds how they take care of business. Fairgoers will be able to see the trucks on display and meet the racing team both days between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Fairgoers that are attending the grandstand events those evenings are in for quite a treat. Following the Motocross on Thursday and ITPA on Friday night, Raminator will hit the track to thrill the crowd with a car crush. The Hall Brothers Racing Team has been unstoppable this past year. Crew Chief Tim Hall was named the MTRA “Mechanic of the Year” for the fourth time. Driver Mark Hall recently won “Driver of the Year” for a record seventh time. Raminator was honored for the sixth time with the coveted title of “Truck of the Year.” The Hall Brothers Racing Team is legendary, and the monster trucks speak for themselves. Monster Truck Racing enthusiasts will not want to miss out on this opportunity to see these giants in person.

new6 FMX Freestyle Motocross Jumpers
Feast your eyes on the highflying, death defying FMX Freestyle Motocross Jumpers at the Jersey County Fair on Thursday, July 14, 2011. This is the only national championship decided by performing flips, tricks, and stunts on a motorcycle flying more than 70 feet through the air, and it’s bringing the competition to Jerseyville this year.  This event is not for the faint of heart, but if you are interested in seeing some of the most electrifying stunts humanly possible, this will be the third stop on the 2011 U.S. FMX Championship Series. The motorcycles will be revving up their engines and ramping up the grandstand entertainment when the competition begins at 7 p.m.

SWIFTY SWINE RACING PIGS
 Get ready to see the fastest pigs in the country when the Swifty Swine Racing Pigs hit the track. These little porkers will be pounding the turf at a blazing 15 mph and shakin' their bacon all for an oreo cookie reward at the finish line. You'll see them race, see them swim and go hog wild as they entertain with nightly shows on the fairgrounds, Tuesday, July 13 through Sunday, July 17, 2011.

"KANDU" THE MAGICIAN
Prepare to be dazzled and delighted by the one and only "Kandu" the magician. As a county fair favorite, "Kandu" has been performing magic around the country for 20 years. With hula-hoops, balloons, buckets, butterfly nets and a few tricks up his sleeve, "Kandu" will be entertaining audiences and leaving them spellbound.

"Kandu" the magician will be performing twice nightly Tuesday, July 13 through Sunday, July 17. Show times to be announced.

PETTING ZOO
See animals from down on the farm up close and personal at the petting zoo. Animals will be on display nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Free admission.
