ENTERTAINMENT:
 MEET JESSE JAMES!
The Jersey County Fair is proud to welcome Jesse James on Friday, July 17, 2009. Jesse James, a custom bike designer and owner of the world famous West Coast Choppers in Long Beach, Ca., is also the star of Spike's Jesse James is a Dead Man. He will make a special appearance to meet the crowds, sign autographs and show his line of industrial workwear clothing.
 NTPA
RETURNS!
NTPA returns for its fourth appearance at the Jersey County Fair. The track will be on fire with three classes pulling for the top spot beginning on Friday, July 17, 2009 at 7 p.m. The National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA) Grand National Pulling Circuit is the top level in the entire pulling industry. This circuit fields professional competitors from across the U.S. and Canada vying for valuable points toward an NTPA Grand National Title in their division all summer long. Three NTPA Grand National classes are on-tap for the fans to cheer on this summer in Jerseyville: 10,000 lb. Pro Stock Tractors, 9,300 lb. Super Farm Tractors and 4-Wheel-Drive Trucks.
NASCAR ON DISPLAY
 Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be behind the driver’s wheel in a Nascar race? Hop into Chapman Motor Sports 2006 Ford Fusion M&M race simulator and feel the experience of driving an actual Nascar Racecar! Plus, the little guys will love getting their picture taken next to "Toby." This half scale Nascar Racecar resembles Lightning McQueen and is a big hit with the kids!.
The dates the cars will be on display are still to be determined.
"KANDU" THE MAGICIAN
Prepare to be dazzled and delighted by the one and only "Kandu" the magician. As a county fair favorite, "Kandu" has been performing magic around the country for 20 years. With hula-hoops, balloons, buckets, butterfly nets and a few tricks up his sleeve, "Kandu" will be entertaining audiences and leaving them spellbound.
"Kandu" the magician will be performing twice daily Tuesday, July 14th through Sunday, July 19th. Show times to be announced.
JESSIE AND JAMES
 Get ready for some laughter as the comedy duo, Jessie and James, light up the stage with their slapstick, unicycle and tightrope routines. Add in six rescues dogs, and you’ll be rolling in the aisles! Since 1985, Jessie and James have brought their unique blend of physical comedy and circus arts to audiences from Las Vegas to Tokyo. The husband and wife comedy team spent three years with Lee Greenwood at his theater in Pigeon Forge Tennessee, and for the past seven years, they have been the featured comedy act at Dolly Parton’s Theaters in Myrtle Beach and Orlando.
PETTING ZOO
See animals from down on the farm up close and personal at the petting zoo. Animals will be on display nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Free admission.
